Oktoberfest Celebration

Waterloo Heights holds an amazing Oktoberfest celebration every year and again this year did not disappoint.  Anna the Executive Director made a very enthusiastic Chicken in their chicken costume, and she led the staff and residents in doing the chicken dance. The office staff, housekeepers and kitchen staff all took the time to come down to do the dance for the residents. The kitchen made a beautiful German-themed meal, and Georgina (one of the kitchen staff) made fresh apple strudel for everyone. It was truly amazing to see the step by step process and photos were posted so the residents could see and appreciate all the work and talent that goes into doing it. We celebrated a touch early this year because we have a big Apple Fest coming up...more fun to be had!!
