Carnival

It was a long time coming, but Landmark Village residents, their essential caregivers and team members recently had a pandemic-safe outdoor carnival. The event was highlighted by carnival games and food. Some games included a frisbee toss, a duck shoot, a boat race, and a toilet paper toss. The residents had a blast playing the games. 

The day began with the residents enjoying a carnival-themed lunch followed by games outdoors. There was a band playing on the front patio and games were hosted around the walking path to the back patio, where there were carnival-like snacks - like candy floss, snow cones, popcorn and hot dogs available for everyone.

this was the first big event at Landmark in a long time due to the restrictions in place during the COVID -19 pandemic. Participants wore face masks and observed social distancing during the event. 

Staff said that the best part of the day was watching the residents having fun with their loved ones, as its been a long time coming.
