Our Leadership Team
In 2014, I embarked on my nursing career at Twin Lakes Village, marking the beginning of an incredibly fulfilling journey. Throughout various professional endeavors, this establishment has always held a special place in my heart, fostering a sense of belonging unlike any other. My passion lies in fostering meaningful connections with residents, staff, and families, a cornerstone of my commitment to this field. With over nine years of nursing experience under my belt, I am thrilled to embrace a new chapter as the Executive Director and Director of Wellness, dedicated to nurturing this cherished community.
I’m excited to have joined Twin Lakes Village as the Resident Services Manager, where I get to combine my healthcare background with my passion for helping others. I’m a nursing graduate with experience in acute care, geriatric care, and clinic coordination. Over the years, I’ve also worked in medical sales and supported both general practitioners and chiropractors. These roles have taught me the value of clear communication, ethical responsibility, and the importance of treating every person with respect and care.
Outside of work, I find joy in staying active—working out at the local gym which keeps me energized and focused. I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling to new places, and boating whenever I get the chance. These moments help me stay grounded and remind me why I do what I do. I bring warmth, empathy, and a strong sense of integrity to every part of my life, and I’m truly grateful to be part of a community where I can make a meaningful difference.
I was born and raised in Sarnia, however I spent several years living in both the Niagara region and Hamilton region.
I have a diploma for the physiotherapy assist program graduating with honors in 2012 after choosing a different career path and going back to school as an adult. I have worked in long term care homes, hospitals, residential group homes and outpatient physiotherapy clinics.
In my spare time I can be found at home gardening, enjoying my backyard with my husband and my Pekingese dog Rosie. Fun fact- I am a tenor drummer with pipe bands and have competed locally and at a World Championship level.
We provide our residents with nutritious meals and a friendly, home-like environment at each meal. My position as the Food Services Manager gives me the opportunity daily to meet and exceed our residents' expectations of a high quality dining experience.
